The Walla Walla Homeless Coalition is comprised of community and agency representatives who provide shelter, housing, and/or support services to families and individuals who are homeless. Participants include: Blue Mountain Action Council; Helpline; Walla Walla County Department of Human Services; City of Walla Walla Housing Authority; VA Medical Center; Walla Walla County Housing Authority; St. Vincent de Paul; DSHS/Community Service Office; the Christian Aid Center; the YWCA; Valley Residential Services; Inland Counseling Network; and Children’s Home Society of Washington. The coalition has been in existence since 1982.

The coalition has two primary purposes:
